Tutor Application

Please note: Tutoring is underway for the 2026–27 school year, and we currently have enough volunteer tutors for our current students. However, we’d still love to hear from you! New students may join the program during the school year, and substitute tutors are sometimes needed to fill in as well.

Please note the following criteria for volunteering:

• a commitment to attend tutoring each week during the school year, October through May (substitutes are welcome to apply),

• a minimum age of a high-school junior with a solid academic record,

• the ability to pass a background check (required by Seattle Public Schools),
