If you’re interested in tutoring but not quite ready to go through the application, let us know your questions through out contact link!

If you are ready to apply to become a tutor, first know that details such as times and days are not typically confirmed until later this summer. However, if you’re interested in a specific school, it would be a good idea to complete the application now and speak with our program manager to tentatively hold your spot as tutoring opportunities at some schools sometimes fill early in the fall.

Please note the following criteria for volunteering:

a commitment to attend tutoring each week during the school year (substitutes are welcome to apply),
a minimum age of a high-school junior with a solid academic record,
the ability to pass a background check (required by Seattle Public Schools),
