D.A. Davidson & Co. Makes Donation

December 2, 2010 –  Invest in Youth announced today that D.A. Davidson & Co., a financial services firm based in Great Falls, Mont. and celebrating 75 years in business, has made an unsolicited donation to their organization. They were chosen by associates in Davidson’s Seattle office to be the recipient of the local funds to honor their work in the community.

As part of the firm’s 75^th anniversary celebration Davidson is donating over $120,000 to nonprofit organizations throughout their market area in the west and midwest.

Invest in Youth was established in 1997 to enhance the academic abilities, self-confidence and life prospects of struggling learners in the Seattle Public Schools. Through their long term paired tutoring relationships, they have assisted more than 600 students in the community since their inception.
